Scholarship Opportunities

ACA SCHOLARSHIPS ARE FULL FOR 2024

Generations of racism and education systems born from discriminatory policies harm people from a wide range of backgrounds, reducing access to education.

When these challenges are combined with those who also identify as LGBTQ or have any disadvantaged circumstances, the impediments can make education seem impossible. ACA aims to assist coaches by providing scholarships to students to obtain accredited coaching education.

We offer scholarships for anyone disadvantaged by circumstances, the LGBTQIA+ community, and BILPOC students.

ACA COACH ACADEMIES SCHOLARSHIP

ACA is now offering full scholarships to students who are disadvantaged by circumstances, the LGBTQIA+ community, and BILPOC students. These are full scholarships and include mentoring. Students will be given opportunities to attend certain classes based on availability. Waiting lists are implemented at times.

This scholarship is aimed at reducing any disparities in obtaining coaching education. Coaching education can cost anywhere from $4,000 - $20,000, making it impossible to obtain by many people. We believe that cost should not be a barrier to education. We support education for all.

This scholarship is meant to serve anyone feeling disadvantaged in the coaching community. Some examples are the following:

  • people from racial and ethnic groups that are underrepresented in coaching

  • people with disabilities

  • people who identify as LGBTQIA+

  • people disadvantaged by circumstances that have negatively impacted their educational opportunities

  • BILPOC students

Please note: We have chosen to use umbrella language and understand the limitations it has. Please know that you are important to us and if we do not represent you properly, we will correct our communications.

Coaching can help anyone in any situation. Asking powerful questions, active listening, and even creating safe spaces for individuals is universal.

The scholarship provides admission to select Level 1 programs.
