It then adds 72 hours of training in the areas mentioned above. This program is excellent for coaches who want the PCC or extensive training. It is also great for coaches who are ready to advance their skills! We do transfer in prior credits.

Program Components

SYNCHRONOUS LEARNING

This is the live component of the program. This is a requirement of all ICF-accredited programs. During the live training, there is a mix of lecturing, activities, demonstration coaching, and practice coaching.

ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING

We have developed an online student training platform using the best instructional design techniques and programs available. Students spend time learning on their own time in our learning management system. Different modes of learning are utilized in the system.

OBSERVED SESSIONS

All students complete what we call observed sessions. This is a practice coaching session with you and another fellow student. We do provide feedback on some observed sessions.

Peer Sessions

These are practice sessions with a peer that are not recorded or reviewed. They are just a way to practice implementing the learning that you do in the classroom.

Journaling Projects

Part of the Level 2 has a project-based component. In this component students are faced with a real situation to analyze and apply core coaching competencies to. The project should demonstrate understanding and ability to apply theories to practice.
